ACCREDITATION
BACI's second Accreditation Survey was completed in April, 2008,
and BACI received the highest rating for our programs -- a 3 year
accreditation.
We will participate in our third Accreditation Survey from May 16 -
18, 2011.
Accreditation is a form of program evaluation. When an agency
such as BACI is "Accredited," it means the agency meets the
standards for quality service established through international
"best practices." The agency is then certified and officially
recognized as an organization that provides quality service.
CARF – The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission
– is the external agency that has evaluated
BACI in the past, and will do so again this Spring.
CARF has developed "best practice" standards by gathering feedback
and expertise from families and employees throughout the world who
work with children and adults with disabilities.
We are excited that the CARF surveyors recognized all
the great things happening at BACI, and helped us learn even more
about providing exceptional services to individuals with
disabilities, families, and all children.
We look forward to going through the accreditation process
again.
