The Prime Minister at BACI!

BACI was thrilled to host Prime Minister Stephen Harper at our Still Creek Centre on October 29, 2009.

The Prime Minister toured the building -- along with Rick Hansen, Minister Steven Fletcher, Jack Styan from PLAN, and BACI's Executive Director Richard Faucher -- and met with several individuals participating in BACI's Day Programs.

The PM then spoke with a large group of people from the community living sector, the business community, and other special guests, on the importance of recognizing the contributions of people of all abilities.

Along with Hansen, Fletcher, and former PLAN President Ted Kuntz, the Prime Minister spoke of the role that the innovative Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) will play in helping people with disabilities to secure their future and participate more fully in their communities.
